LanguageAccelerated uses the research-based Compton PESL method of Accent Modification to improve our clients’ fluency and make their spoken English more easily understood.
How does this work?
We’ll give you a personal evaluation to identify your particular challenges in
spoken English. We will then tailor your class to your specific needs, either in one-on-one
or small group sessions. You will be provided with audio CD’s or computer software for practice between sessions. Usually 12 weekly sessions of 60 minutes (one person) or 90 minutes (5 people)
are sufficient for significant improvement in fluency and intelligibility.
But does it really work?
The Compton PESL method has documented at least a 50% decrease in error rate upon completion of their classes.
